I realize that is post is over a year old, but felt compelled to respond. I think the “surprise” that your wife is alluding to has more to do with the *number* of children she has had.
That is, I, too have four children (currently ages 9, 7, 5, & 3)… and I am frequently “surprised” as well.

It also depends on the person’s diet. If someone drinks a lot of water and eats well (ie vegetables, beans, fiber) they are more apt to have those surprises. If someone exists on a lard diet, cheese and fast food, their systems are typically more backed up. If you are sh*tting a brick, you know the brick is coming.

I would bet most the women are lying to you. Especially if they aren’t family members and are office women. Surprises happen all the time, I’m in your wife’s court on this one.
