I think that you kind of led your readers astray with your description of you wife's toilet tales. She probably needs to pee and then while sitting there realizes that there is also a poop the needs to come out. That makes perfect sense to me. You made it sound more like she sits down without knowing what the heck is going to come out or where it's going to come from. I'm sure it's the need to pee relieved followed by the need to poop.
