Muffler: New Cell Phone Feature For Husbands

I propose a new cell phone feature called the ‘muffler’ that enables men to quickly cut the volume in half when entering an elevator while being yelled at by their wives. Actually, we better make it so we can cut by 75%.

Any other features we need to consider?

  2. First – I LOVE your posts. They are so hilarious. I don’t know how you guys do it, but they are they greatest humor.

    I have a suggestion for an additional feature for a man’s cell phone. How about a feature that reads a license plate and automaticly dials the cell phone number of the person who just cut him off so he can give him a piece of his mind on the spot!! (Hands free, of course!)

  4. I am going to go with the instant voicemail for the hubby phone. When the wife is angry and yelling or PMSing just hit a button and she gets to hear “I’m sorry, but your husband cannot speak to you right now, please leave a message at the beep.” That way when things have calmed down you can listen to the message while fast forwarding past the foul language and irrational rants and get to the meat of the issue. You can then go back to her and say “I have heard your grievance and am ready to respond.” So calm, so logical, so nicely done.

  6. I’m convinced there should be a button that, when pressed, will play a recording of your voice saying “Uh-huh” and “Oh really?” at 3 minute intervals. Then you can continue working or even nod off when she goes into a minute by minute recap of her day over the phone.

  8. I would like to propose another cell phone feature.

    Could we husbands have a button that simulates a call breaking up and then losing signal. You hit the “fuzz” button and while the wife is yelling she starts to hear fuzz and your voice breaking up and then the call is dropped. This, of course, would not be our fault. We were listening intently to her every word, but we just lost the call…Brilliant!!!
