My coworkers and I were discussing marriage last week during a meeting. Specifically, we were talking about ways to show your wife that you love her and some of the little tricks that work. One of the members of the group provided us with an awesome idea:
Next time you are in the bathroom playing Sudoku on the toilet, lean over and write on the toilet paper: “For a good time call [insert your name]” This guy said his wife thought it was hilarious. Each of us in the room thought it was hilarious too, so I tried it this weekend.
Results
On Friday I wrote “For a good time call Chris.” I was so excited to see what my wife thought, and I waited all night for her to say something. Right as we were going to bed, my wife said, “Did you see what your brother wrote on the toilet paper? What’s wrong with him?”
I was completely confused. Why did she think he wrote that? What about the good time? Eventually I explained what I was trying to do. In the end she did think it was very funny, although I am still confused why she thinks my brother would be sneaking into our bathroom to write something like that.
Even though this didn’t work for me, I am satisfied that it will for you. Try it out and let me know how it goes. I think it is a great idea to do something funny that shows you love your wife (or husband if any of you wives out there want to do it).

Just so you know, The Donkey’s brother was at our house that night. When I went up to use our bathroom, I noticed someone had just used a fair amount of air freshener; for reasons which I won’t expand upon, that caused me to assume that the brother was the last one who used our bathroom.

Thanks Donkey, that’s a funny/good idea for a birthday or anniversary too. I am going to do that on our bathroom wall. His parents (help me!) are coming later this week so maybe I’ll hold off on it a bit lol.

this is a funny idea, but i am shocked at your surprise that the wife thought it was your brother. Let me recount a typical night with the donkey and his brother. they make between 20-30 inappropriate comments at least 1/4 directed at each other. There is always multiple instances of physical contact which usually equates to a high school football hazing assault. plus you make him sleep with you while the wife is away.
