I read a book once about the 5 languages of love. There's gifts, (flowers, candy) words of affirmation ("you're very pretty, I love you" etc), quality time (watching a movie together "date night" stuff like that), acts of service (taking care of the kids for the other, making sure the car is serviced) and of course the most well known physical touch . In this blog obviously Donkey is an acts of service kind of guy. He shows his love through things like making breakfast in bed and taking care of the kids. Perhaps Wife interprets these acts as love as well. Which makes them a GREAT couple. They speak each other's languages. Now if only I could find such harmony in my own relationship. LOL

She was so tired because she was busy watching me get all that stuff done. Would I outright lie to get her to do some work on the site? Of course. Isn't that how you motivate people? :)

If Mother's Day was as wonderful as you say, how come she was too tired to do the column?

You're not someone who would fill the column with outright lies just to ensure that she writes the next one, are you?
