I now feel quite torn. I like the donkey, I would like to see him at said family reunion. But if he doesn’t want to be there… it’s miserable for everyone, right? Does this also mean that I can share a room with Nancy?

thank goodness i love my in-laws. this will never be a problem – but in case i start hating them, what a great idea. may i also suggest moving to a location out of range of even thinking about flying home. let’s say Turkey for example? and maybe do it for like 2 years, so the avoidance wouldn’t be so obvious. that would seem to work and at least allow for a short break.
