Love Letter from Husband Reveals His True Feelings
P.S. I Love You
I was on my own last week, since The Donkey was on a business trip (vacation) all week. As always, I requested that he send postcards to the kids, and this time he managed to remember to do it! Since he’s slightly stingy, I was surprised that he splurged and sent individual postcards to each of the boys. I was even more surprised that he wrote one to me!
Then I read it…

Yeah, no surprises there.

If I got a postcard like that I’d let my legs grow even if I usually *did* shave them
I’d also make sure my kids got Mountain Dew *right* before he got home….. then I’d make myself scarce for about an hour or so…. pfft!

He’s just joking, right? This is supposed to make you smile and sigh and give him a hard time when he comes home?

The locks on the door would be changed if I had received this postcard!

Nothing seems amiss here.

Clearly he is letting his wife knows what he would like accomplished while he is gone.he just said it in a funny way to take the edge off

how can this not be taken seriously? i would expect things to be in tip top shape even with the spouse away. none of this, “while the cat’s away, the mice will play” business. chip chop.

I don’t see what all the fuss is about! He wrote just like she requested and he’s being honest just like we’re told to do. What gives??
The poor Donkey can never win.

I can’t figure out if he does this on purpose to get a laugh, or if he’s actually that clueless…

here’s what I would do… make the house look really messy, and make a really nice dinner but hide it in the fridge or oven so he won’t see it when he gets back, then wait to see what he does and see if he really deserves that nice dinner he was asking for.

BAAAAAHAHAHAHA! (Note to self: Totally do that when I take my business trip in May.)

If he got dinner when he returned from his trip, he better not eat it!

and i quote “i love you so much” is this something to be criticized over
By phillyz on Mar 12, 2008
phillyz: good point! How come that went unnoticed
By The Donkey on Mar 12, 2008
Oh, I couldn’t read that part, and I thought he said “I love you some”, with something illegible at the end. You win some points back, Donkey.

He actually requests that you shave your legs? Will he be clean-shaven when he returns? This is a give-and-take kinda thing.
