Excerpt from a recent “discussion”
The Wife: Well, you’re always going out to lunch and you never even think to come home for lunch or invite me to go out with you.
The Donkey: I do like to have lunch with you.
The Wife: It just seems like you have such a drive to go with your friends or brothers–you go to great lengths to make sure you can do something with them. It doesn’t seem like you have the same drive to do things with me.
The Donkey: Ok, well let’s just take care of this right now. You are officially invited to have lunch with me every other week for the rest of the year.
The Wife: Oh wow, I feel so much better now.
