Here are the results for the Great Babysitter Debate
The people have spoken: apparently no parent alive would be comfortable having a donkey call their daughter (which kind of makes you wonder what happened when my father was approached with a request for my hand in marriage). I suppose I will have to resign myself to being the coordinator of the child-care. I do appreciate The Donkey’s suggestion that I start using it as leverage.

(By the way, you’ll have to take the kids along and try to control them in the service station waiting room, because I’m going to be busy scrubbing the floor under the high chair.)

so maybe it wasn’t a complete loss, he takes the kids to do maintenance and you got a good jab in about the floor…. i’m still with you though, we should share the responsibility of calling babysitters.

Why should he have to bring the kids to get the car maintained? The kids should stay at home with the babysitter.

Hold the phone!!! Didn’t I just hear the Wife talking on the phone with the maintenance shop today while she was in the Donkey’s office? Sorry, Donkey, it’s give and take – you’re up for calling the next babysitter.
