seems to be both your fault. if it was really that big a deal to the husband that the lamp leave why didn’t he just take it to the donation site himself? and if the wife thinks it’s okay to dismantle the lamp why not put the dismantled lamp in the donation box?looks like you’re both guilty.

stubbing a toe on something stored is of course the tow stubber's fault...not the storer...

donkey is behaving like the classic american in this case..."it has to be someone's fault, it can't be my own!" and for this the wife gets blamed.

if the donkey would have dropped off the donation, the wife would have been happy she didn't have to do it AND he would have gotten bonus points for being so thoughtful. why not complete your wife's unfinished tasks instead of blaming her for them. she couldn't take the items where she wanted probably because she was busy taking care of your kids!

take responsibility for your own movements and missteps!

americans...can't we just call this an accident and place no blame save on idiocy?

Although she didn’t deliberately cut my toe, she was clearly neglectful. What if I tied a machete over her head while she was sleeping? She would get up in the morning and likely require a few stitches. I’m sure I would get the blame, and well deserved too.

I voted for the mother-in-law. She should never have invited him to play Boggle. With him it is a dangerous sport. Each time we play he runs the risk of being hit over the head with a baseball bat. I ask you which would you rather have a sore toe or a concusion? You were lucky this time believe me. It is so exasperating playing any game requiring intelligence with the Donkey because he is so full of it (intelligence, I mean). I rest my case. The mother-in-law.

The Donkey is right no question. If you leave a potentially dangerous item out and someone gets hurt your at fault.

Gotta hand the victory to the Donkey on this one. Have you ever heard of Freecycle(TM)? You can post unwanted items and people will come pick them up, rather than you having to haul it off to the donation center.

This one is really hard for me to vote on. As The Wife didn’t actually inflict the damage herself like with a crowbar or something, I’m voting in her favor.
